EBTD Partnership Schools & Pilot Teachers – Bangladesh (BD)

At Evidence Based Teacher Development (EBTD), we do not believe in “delivering training to schools”. We believe in building training with schools – through real classrooms, real teachers and real evidence from Bangladesh (BD).

From 2026, we are inviting a small number of schools and teachers to become EBTD Pilot Partners. These partners will help us test and refine our new leadership, Early Years and classroom training programmes before they are launched nationally.

Why we are launching the partnership programme

In Bangladesh, most professional development is:

  • short term and workshop-based
  • focused on theory, not daily practice
  • disconnected from the realities of large classes and exam pressure

EBTD is building something different:

  • long-term, behaviour-focused development
  • grounded in classroom practice and strong leadership
  • adapted for Bangladeshi schools, not copied from somewhere else

To do this well, we need schools and teachers who are willing to pilot, reflect and give honest feedback.

Who can become an EBTD partner?

We welcome expressions of interest from:

  • primary and secondary schools in Bangladesh (BD)
  • Bangla medium, English version and English medium schools
  • early years settings and kindergartens
  • headteachers, senior leaders and classroom teachers

You do not need to be a “perfect” school. You need to be a reflective, learning-focused school.

What partnership schools and teachers will do

As an EBTD Pilot Partner, you may be invited to:

  • trial selected EBTD training materials in leadership, Early Years or assessment
  • use tools in real classrooms or leadership meetings over a defined period
  • provide structured feedback using short reflection forms or discussion calls
  • help adapt materials for Bangladeshi contexts (class size, language, resources)
  • shape the final versions of our professional development courses for 2026

We will design all pilots to respect existing workload and school priorities.

What your school will receive

Partnership schools and pilot teachers will gain:

  • early access to new EBTD training resources
  • practical guidance on implementation in real classrooms
  • recognition as an EBTD Partnership School (with permission)
  • priority access to full EBTD training programmes from 2026
  • the opportunity to influence a national, evidence-informed development model

Most importantly, you will help create professional development that genuinely works for Bangladeshi teachers and students.
